Privacy Policy

This is a plain-language explainer of what data Rezolvo collects, why, and where it goes. It is not legal advice. For high-stakes or regulated use (EU, UK, California, India), please consult your own lawyer before relying on this document.

Who we are

Rezolvo is an AI research product. This policy covers the service operated at rezolvo.ai. Questions about this policy or your data: use our contact form.

What we collect

Account data

Email address (used as your login)
Hashed password (stored by our auth provider, Supabase — we never see the plaintext)
Account creation timestamp

Research content

The queries you submit
Any constraints or clarifications you provide
The reports we generate for you
Verification scores, facts, and source URLs we collect during research

Technical data

IP address and basic request metadata (collected by our hosting provider, Fly.io)
Session cookies (used to keep you signed in; expire on logout)

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies.

How we use it

To run your research queries and deliver the reports
To keep you signed in between visits
To debug the service when something breaks
To understand how the product is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it

Who we share it with

To generate a research report, your query is sent to the following third parties. Each has their own privacy policy — follow the links below for details.

Supabase — authentication and user/job database. supabase.com/privacy
Fly.io — application hosting and request routing. fly.io/legal/privacy-policy
Upstash — Redis queue and ephemeral job state. upstash.com/privacy
OpenAI — language model inference on your query and retrieved text. openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
Search providers (Exa, Tavily, Jina, DuckDuckGo, and others as enabled) — your query is sent to retrieve sources. Each provider's privacy policy applies.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers.

Where we store it

Account records and job history are stored in Supabase (EU region). Queue and in-flight job state is held in Upstash Redis (EU region). Application servers run on Fly.io (Amsterdam). Some third-party providers (e.g., OpenAI) may process data in the United States.

How long we keep it

Account data: until you delete your account
Research queries and reports: kept until you delete the individual job or your account
Technical logs: 30 days

Your rights

You can:

Access a copy of your data — request an export
Delete individual jobs from within the app
Delete your entire account from Settings (hard-deletes all data immediately), or ask us to do it for you
Object to processing — contact us

If you are in the EU, UK, or a jurisdiction with similar regulations (GDPR, DPDP, CCPA), you have additional statutory rights under those laws. We will honour them in good faith.

Children

Rezolvo is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete the account.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced via email to registered users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
